Our local Mission

Care, connection and practical help

The Mission to Seafarers’ Centre for North Tees and Hartlepool serves visiting seafarers who may be spending long periods away from their families, friends and familiar surroundings.

The centre provides a safe and friendly welcome, a place to rest and connect, and access to practical and pastoral support from people who understand the pressures of life at sea.

Our aim is to ensure that every seafarer who comes through the door is treated with dignity, kindness and respect.
